Laser stretch marks removal – Laser Palomar Emerge
An interesting procedure is removing stretch marks with the help of Palomar Emerge laser. This is a non-ablative, fractional laser whose micro-beams of light penetrate the skin to a depth of 1.5 cm. It damages epidermis and dermis in a controlled way. This process causes intensive regeneration of skin fibres. New fibroblasts are produced, which in turn rebuild collagen and elastin fibres. Such a process causes skin remodelling where damaged fragments are replaced by healthy ones.
The stretch marks treatment using the Palomar Emerge laser is a great solution for people who want to go back to their daily activities quickly, because convalescence time is short ~ says Natalia Munda, cosmetologist from Clinica Cosmetologica
Harmony XL PRO iPixel Laser
Another laser method that will effectively deal with the problem of stretch marks is the use of the Harmony XL PRO iPixel laser. Laser micro beams make controlled microdamages in the skin. This leads to intensive reconstruction of its structure through increased synthesis of collagen and elastin fibres that fill and hold the skin.
CO2 Smart Xide2 fractional laser reduces stretch marks
Another non-invasive treatment for stretch marks is the use of the CO2 Smart Xide2 fractional laser. It is modern equipment combining laser and radio waves. Microdamages in the skin, resulting from the action of this laser, lead to coagulation of tissues in microthermal zones. Skin starts regeneration processes and produces more collagen. Its structure is rebuilt and that allows to reduce stretch marks.
Harmony XL Pro Clearlift laser for stretch marks
For stretch marks also Harmony XL Pro Clearlift laser may be used. It emits short high energy pulses that produce a photoacoustic effect that reaches the dermis. This results in controlled microdamages in the skin that stimulate skin regeneration. By increasing the synthesis of collagen and elastin fibres, the skin becomes stronger and denser – stretch marks are reduced.
Dermapen/Mesopen for stretch marks
Dermapen/Mezopen treatment is the most precise of the proposals. As the name suggests, the device resembles a pen that allows you to perform accurate, fractional skin mikro-punctures. As many as 80,000 micro-punctures are made during one minute – through them nutrients are delivered to the skin.
Regardless of which treatment we pick, to maintain the satisfactory effects it will be necessary to take care of the body through a healthy lifestyle and proper care.
Needle mesotherapy for stretch marks
While fighting against stretch marks, needle mesotherapy is also used. Individually selected nutrients are given to the deeper layers of the skin with a thin needle. It is possible to apply cream anaesthesia. The active ingredients stimulate skin to rebuild. A series of treatments will reduce or even completely remove stretch marks.
Why treatments are the best for stretch marks?
Daily moisturizing, usage of regenerating cosmetics, physical activity and diet are the basic ways that can improve the appearance of the skin. However, they aren’t able to remove stretch marks, especially the advanced ones. Such home remedies are extremely useful because they prevent the formation of subsequent lines and the deepening of existing ones. However, we are not able to repair skin structures with such methods. However, it may be done by treatments that work directly in the problematic area – in the deep layers of the skin.
FREE consultation before treatments
Regardless of the problem we face, any aesthetic medicine or cosmetology treatment should be preceded by consultation with a specialist. It will allow you to choose the optimal treatment for your individual needs. What counts is not only the procedure itself, but also its intensity or quantity. It should be remembered that each case is individual and the best results may be obtained by choosing the best therapy for the given situation. Every consultation with a cosmetologist at Clinica Cosmetologica is free, even if you decide not to undergo treatments.
What are stretch marks?
Stretch marks are observed as skin changes – characteristic lines with pink, purple or white color. This is an aesthetic defect that is a consequence of fiber damage within the dermis. Simply put, it is torn skin, more specifically, deep scars that were not caused by connective tissue damage from the outside, but from the inside.
Where do stretch marks come from?
Stretch marks appear when skin cannot stretch optimally, cannot withstand a rapid change in tension and breaks. Therefore, stretch marks most often arise as a result of a sudden increase or decrease of weight. However, this process doesn’t have to be related only to the growth of adipose tissue. Stretch marks often appear during pregnancy, but also during puberty.
Not every person experiencing weight gain suffers from stretch marks. This is because genetic tendencies and the influence of hormones are also important. Genetic tendencies are of great importance here. More specifically, stretch marks appear more often in people who tend to have less qualitative elastic fibres. In such cases, skin is less able to stretch. In addition, the tendency to stretch marks increases when the body is weakened – e.g. in diseases. In addition, many hormonal issues increase the risk of stretch marks.
Stages of stretch marks
The formation of stretch marks may be divided into two stages. The first is the inflammatory phase. Most often it lasts 12 – 24 months. At this time, stretch marks have a pink, red or purple colour. At this stage, changes are just forming and that is why it is definitely necessary to act at this moment. When stretch marks go into the second phase, getting rid of them will be much more difficult.
The second phase of stretch marks is the atrophic phase. Stretch marks begin to fade and become almost white. They become permanent and damaged skin fibres no longer have the capacity to regenerate. In addition, you may feel stretch marks while touching skin. White stretch marks cannot be reduced with the help of home methods, and even their elimination during cosmetological treatments will be much more difficult than in case of inflammatory stretch marks.

Stretch marks most often appear on the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, chest and back. They are caused by hormonal changes, pregnancy, rapid increase in body weight and muscle mass. Stretch marks can also occur when connective tissue disorders are caused by the influence of genes.
